Deb Hallberg is the Business Development Manager for Industry Groups at Barnes & Thornburg LLP which includes: Life Sciences, Entrepreneurial and Emerging Companies, Data Privacy & Security, Internet & Technology and Energy, Telecommunications & Utilities. Deb also serves as the Firm’s relationship manager for some of its national and international associations, i.e., Biotechnology Innovation Organization, Association of Corporate Counsel (seven chapters), and TerraLex, an international organization for lawyers.
Deb is a well-connected business professional with a broad background in facilitating successful outcomes for both organizations and individuals. Management expertise, grounded in a broad career in legal and entrepreneurial environments, has garnered recognition and respect by high profile industry groups, trade associations and corporations alike. She coordinates a CFO Roundtable for central Indiana, the firm’s liaison with Indiana Health Industry Forum, serves on the Organizing Committee for the inX3 Entrepreneur Celebration in Indianapolis, is a former Board member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (Indiana chapter), Board Emeritus of Women & Hi Tech, Chair of the Central Indiana Women’s Business Center Advisory Council, member of the BOI board, member of Legal Marketing Association, National Association of Professional Women, and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Deb studied marketing and home economics at Ball State and Purdue University, respectively. She is married, with four adult children and four grandchildren.
