Money on the Table

Read Description

News Flash! Men and Women are different! There are the obvious physical differences, but we are also different in ways that are not easy to see, but often experienced. We think differently, we communicate differently and we respond differently. There are good reasons for that. We view the world from different perspectives.

Difference in perspectives brings more money to the bottom line. The problem is we’re missing perspective. We’re leaving money on the table! It’s because in most organizations, we’re lacking female leadership at senior levels. We don’t have the gender balance we need to best solve our biggest and most expensive problems. The question is how do we change this paradigm?

Join Melissa Greenwell for a riveting discussion on gender and leadership and learn how you can change practices, programs and behaviors that will enable you to be more profitable!

Courageous Leadership for Women: The Unwritten Rules of Success

Read Description

In this provocative, content rich and often hilarious keynote, recovering corporate executive Cindy Solomon shares her learnings from over two decades (and 8,000 interviews) of research around what creates and builds courageous leadership.  Many people think of courage as an attribute. Something that we’re born with, or not. But Solomon’s research clearly demonstrates that courage is actually a set of skills that anyone can learn… should they choose to. The more adept you become at wielding your courage skills, the more you can achieve. When courage becomes an embedded cultural value within your organization, a new sense of direction, teamwork, and commitment is born. Factors that used to thwart your productivity, like uncertainty and change, are transformed into positive forces that drive you to achieve the impossible. If you’re ready to flex your courage muscle to build your business, your career, your life – this is the session for you!

The Unraveling of Well-Intentioned Sh*t

Read Description

We’ve all grown up with them – idioms, phrases and sage pieces of advice that, while well-intentioned, have very little use in the real world. For example, is it really the thought that counts? And must we be forced to fake it until we make it? In this humorous, thoughtful and relatable journey, we’ll examine some of the most often taught “life lessons,” while asking ourselves, “Is it all a just bunch of sh*t?”
